Forward Moving Counselling
Talking and helping people to make sense of their situation is an important part of the healing process and something that is the key focus of my practice. I am here to listen, to support clients to reflect and to gain insight while encouraging you to actively make the choices that affect your life.
I am experienced in a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy to name a few, however my style is to meet the client where they are at, not to make assumptions about what will work for them, but to always collaborate on how sessions are run. The pace of the sessions is totally dependent on the needs of the client.
I’m also open to walk and talk therapy if you want to catch up outdoors. I have an option for on-line sessions and I’m happy to do something creative while we chat, if that works for you and makes you feel more comfortable

Counsellors help people to tackle problems in a positive way by helping them to clarify issues, explore options and develop strategies. Counsellors are experts in listening and supporting people to achieve their personal goals. A psychologist has specialist training in diagnosis and assessment and tend to support people with more severe mental health problems.
